Warranty Policy

At VMAPS Design, we strive to deliver products manufactured with quality materials, skilled workmanship, and strict quality control standards. Every product is carefully inspected before dispatch. However, despite our quality assurance processes, manufacturing defects may occasionally occur.

This Warranty Policy sets out the terms and conditions governing warranty claims for products purchased from www.vmapsdesign.com or through our authorized sales channels.

This warranty is limited, conditional, non-transferable, and subject to the terms described below.

1. Nature of Warranty

The warranty provided by VMAPS Design is a limited manufacturer's warranty covering only verified manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended residential use.

This warranty is offered solely at the discretion of VMAPS Design after inspection and verification of the reported issue.

This warranty does not guarantee that a product will remain free from normal aging, cosmetic changes, environmental effects, accidental damage, misuse, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control.

2. Warranty Period

Warranty coverage varies depending upon the product category, material, construction, hardware, accessories, and intended application.

The applicable warranty period will be specified on the relevant:

If no warranty period is specifically mentioned for a product, no express warranty shall be deemed to exist beyond the protections available under applicable law.

The warranty period begins from the date of successful delivery or installation (where installation is provided by VMAPS Design).

3. Conditions for Warranty Eligibility

A warranty claim will only be considered if all of the following conditions are satisfied:

The product was purchased directly from VMAPS Design or an authorized sales channel.
The original purchaser submits the claim.
Valid proof of purchase is provided.
The warranty period has not expired.
The product has been used only for its intended purpose.
The product has been properly maintained.
The defect is reported immediately after discovery.
The product has not been altered, modified, repaired, dismantled, or tampered with by any unauthorized person.
The product remains available for inspection by our representatives if requested.

Failure to satisfy any of the above conditions may result in rejection of the warranty claim.

4. Warranty Claim Assessment

Every warranty request is individually assessed.

Submission of a warranty request does not automatically mean the claim has been approved.

VMAPS Design reserves the right to:

Request photographs or videos.
Request an unboxing video where relevant.
Request additional documents.
Arrange a physical inspection.
Collect the product or affected component for examination.
Seek technical evaluation before making a final decision.

Our technical team's assessment shall be considered final regarding the cause of the reported issue.

5. What Is Covered

Subject to successful verification, warranty coverage may include:

Manufacturing defects in materials.
Manufacturing defects in workmanship.
Structural failures caused solely by manufacturing defects.
Factory-installed hardware failure caused by manufacturing defects.
Defects that substantially affect the intended functionality of the product.

6. What Is Not Covered

The warranty specifically excludes, without limitation:

Normal wear and tear.
Cosmetic scratches, dents, stains, fading, discoloration, or minor surface imperfections.
Natural variations in wood grain, laminate pattern, veneer, colour, texture, finish, or appearance.
Seasonal expansion or contraction of wood-based materials.
Damage resulting from transportation after successful delivery.
Improper storage.
Incorrect installation by third parties.
Self-installation errors.
Commercial use where the product is intended for residential use.
Overloading beyond recommended capacity.
Accidental impact.
Mishandling during relocation.
Water damage.
Moisture ingress.
Flooding.
Fire.
Excessive heat.
Direct sunlight.
Corrosion.
Rust due to environmental conditions.
Pest infestation.
Termite damage.
Rodent damage.
Chemical exposure.
Cleaning with abrasive or unsuitable products.
Acts of God, including earthquakes, storms, floods, lightning, or similar events.
Damage resulting from negligence or improper maintenance.
Consumable parts or accessories subject to normal usage.
Any issue that does not materially affect the functionality or structural integrity of the product.

7. Circumstances That Void the Warranty

This warranty shall automatically become void if:

The original invoice has been altered or cannot be produced.
Product identification labels have been removed or tampered with.
The product has been repaired by an unauthorized person.
The product has been modified in any manner.
Unauthorized spare parts or accessories have been installed.
The product has been relocated or dismantled improperly.
Installation instructions have not been followed.
Care instructions have not been followed.
The product has been intentionally damaged.
The product has been used for purposes other than those for which it was designed.

8. VMAPS Design's Rights

VMAPS Design reserves the sole and absolute right to determine:

Whether a defect is covered under warranty.
Whether repair or replacement is appropriate.
Whether only specific components require replacement.
Whether an equivalent replacement product may be supplied where the original model has been discontinued.
Whether replacement parts of similar quality, specification, or finish may be used.

The decision of VMAPS Design shall be final and binding to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Warranty

This warranty is limited strictly to the repair or replacement of defective components or products.

VMAPS Design shall not be responsible for:

Refunds.
Installation charges.
Reinstallation charges.
Labour charges by third parties.
Transportation expenses unless expressly agreed.
Temporary accommodation costs.
Business interruption.
Loss of profits.
Indirect, incidental, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages.

Where applicable law provides non-excludable consumer rights, this policy does not limit those statutory rights.

10. Transferability

This warranty is issued exclusively to the original purchaser and cannot be assigned, transferred, resold, or inherited without prior written approval from VMAPS Design.
